China's Currency

The Current currency of China is the Yuan. It is also called Renminbi which means "The Peoples Currency". Like our U.S. dollars, the yuan splits up into three diffenet parts: the Yuan, the Jiao, and the Fen. Ten Jiao equals one Yuan and ten Fen equals one Jiao. Right now, one U.S dollar is equal to about eight Yuan.

Here is some of the paper currency that is used in china today.

100 Yuan

50 Yuan

They also use some coins

1 Yuan, 5 Jiao, and 1 Jiao
